Families living apart due to Spouse Visa law may finally be allowed to live together in the UK thanks to a new Supreme Court ruling.
The Minimum Income Requirement of £18,600 may now be waived provided a couple meets they meet specific circumstances in a potentially life changing move this August.
If a family life would be unjustly affected by a spouse visa refusal or if it potentially affected their human rights, then the UK Home Office would have to consider alternative methods of funding outside of the UK applicants income. This could include funding from a wealthy family member or a legitimate offer employment for the foreign partner.
This new change also opens up for couples that have previously been rejected for spouse visas in the past, things are certainly looking up for those wanting to reunite in England.
